Medication reviews at MVMG

You do not now need to book an appointment for your annual medication review.
Your GP will review you medication annually in the month of your birth by reviewing your notes and will call you if needed.
Some patients will be invited to an appointment with a clinical pharmacist review their medications.
Please make sure you book in for all of the tests that are needed to monitor your medication when you are invited (e.g. asthma / COPD / diabetes review with the nurse, hypertension reviews with the HCA, bloods tests).  This will usually be in the month of your birth but may be more often than this if needed for your particular medication.  We will advise you when we need an up-to-date blood pressure reading or weight measurement.  Home blood pressure readings are the most accurate, but if you don’t have a machine at home you can use the kiosk in the surgery.
If you have any problems with any of your medications outside of the routine review, please submit an eConsult.
